An agent runtime you can read.
And build on.

Apteva is open source under MIT. Run it on your laptop, drive it from your own code, and extend the operating system with apps that become part of it rather than plugins bolted to the side.

01

Drive Apteva from outside

Every instance exposes a REST API. Create agents, install apps, move files, trigger builds, read activity — from a script, your CI, or your own front end. The same API whether you self-host or use Cloud.

Extend Apteva from inside

Write an app against the SDK and it becomes part of the platform: new tools for agents, HTTP routes, background workers, and its own panel in the dashboard, sitting beside the first-party apps as an equal.

Build an app →

Start here

Run a full instance locally — server, agent runtime, dashboard, and the app system — with one command:

$ npx apteva

No account required. It is the same build that runs in production, with 116 apps available to install and 672 services to connect.
