Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Apteva handles information across our website, hosted services, dashboard, and mobile applications.

Effective August 9, 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to services operated by Apteva, including apteva.ai, Apteva Cloud, the Apteva dashboard, and Apteva applications distributed through the Apple App Store. In this policy, "Apteva," "we," and "our" refer to Apteva, operated by Marco Schwartz.

Apteva can also be self-hosted. When you use a self-hosted workspace operated by another person or organization, that operator controls the workspace and its data. This policy applies only to information that Apteva itself receives or processes.

The Apteva website automatically records page views through Apteva Analytics and uses Meta Pixel to measure advertising performance and conversions. Meta may receive browser and device information, visited pages, referral information, and actions such as lead submissions. Meta processes this information under its own privacy policy. The mobile app may also process notification tokens or diagnostic information when those features are enabled. We do not intentionally collect payment-card details through the iOS app.

3. How we use data

  • Provide, operate, synchronize, and secure Apteva services.
  • Execute agent instructions, tool calls, integrations, and requested workflows.
  • Authenticate users and maintain account and workspace permissions.
  • Respond to support requests and send essential service communications.
  • Monitor reliability, investigate incidents, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
  • Improve product performance using aggregated or de-identified analysis where practical.
  • Measure advertising campaigns and attribute lead or registration conversions.
  • Comply with legal obligations and protect users, Apteva, and the public.

We do not sell personal information or use private workspace content for advertising. We do not use private workspace content to train public AI models unless we first obtain explicit permission.

Where applicable, we process data to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as service security and improvement, comply with legal obligations, or based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.

4. How data is shared

We disclose information only as needed for the following purposes. We require providers processing data for us to protect it consistently with this policy and applicable law.

  • Service providers. Infrastructure, authentication, analytics, advertising measurement, communications, support, and security providers that process data for us under appropriate obligations.
  • Meta Platforms. We use Meta Pixel on the website to measure page views, leads, and account registrations associated with advertising campaigns. Meta may use this information according to its own privacy policy and account settings.
  • AI model providers. Prompts and relevant context may be sent to the model provider selected by you or your workspace administrator to complete requested tasks.
  • Connected services. Agents exchange data with integrations you authorize, according to your instructions and the connected service's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Apple. Apple processes App Store downloads, purchases, subscriptions, and certain diagnostics under Apple's own policies.
  • Legal and safety disclosures. We may disclose data when reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, or protect rights, safety, and service integrity.
  • Business transfers. Information may transfer as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, or sale, subject to this policy or equivalent protections.

5. Retention and deletion

Account information is retained while your account is active. Workspace and agent content remains available until it is deleted by you or an authorized workspace administrator, or until the associated account or service is closed. Support, transaction, security, and audit records are retained only for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, and meet legal or accounting obligations.

When data is deleted, we remove it from active systems within a commercially reasonable period. Residual copies may remain temporarily in encrypted backups and are removed as those backups expire. We may retain aggregated or de-identified data that no longer identifies an individual.

To request deletion of your Apteva account and associated hosted data, email contact@apteva.ai from the address connected to your account. We may need to verify your identity and authority over the workspace before completing the request.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Disconnect integrations or revoke their authorization from the relevant settings.
  • Disable notifications in iOS Settings or within the app when controls are available.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link in the message.
  • Limit advertising measurement through browser privacy controls, content blockers, or Meta account settings.
  • Request access, correction, export, restriction, objection, or deletion where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Complain to your local data-protection authority.

Send privacy requests to contact@apteva.ai. We will verify and respond to requests as required by applicable law.

7. Security, children, and international transfers

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted transport, and service monitoring. No system is completely secure, so users should protect credentials and avoid placing unnecessary sensitive information in agent instructions or connected workflows.

Apteva is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and remove it.

Apteva and its providers may process information outside your country. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers.

8. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Apteva changes. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by another appropriate method.
